In 2023, one of UNC Charlotte's dining halls underwent at $13 million renovation. Previously called Crown Commons, the hall needed a rebrand to reflect the space's transformation. The dining team landed on the name Social 704, a nod to the University's area code and the dining team's vision to build campus community in our dining spaces.
I iterated hundreds of logo designs, taking inspiration from local food courts, popular favorites among Gen Z audiences, as well as other campus dining logos.

The final design incorporates bright greens, oranges and yellows that reflect fresh, healthy foods and match colors used in the interior design. The abstract bowl represents the plethora of options available inside. Alternative versions provide flexibility for showcasing the logo in different spaces and sizes.
